What is journey work? I get that question a lot!
Here's what it is and how I use it to help other women soul-o-preneurs:
A journey is a powerful meditative state and the gateway to non-ordinary reality. Ordinary reality is the world we can see, touch, and feel in our every day. Journeying is the method that I use to access other worlds where the spirit helpers are found. These unseen forces have guided and protected you since you were born. Non-ordinary reality is the realm of the spirit, of visions and dreams, and the sources of your energy, creativity, passions, and love. Being there is an honor and a blessing not just for me, but for those I journey for. I bring back wisdom and words of empowerment that relate to you and your business.
How it's done:
I connect with these spiritual dimensions of reality on your behalf to request a message for what is happening in your life or business right now.
- I usually journey for others sitting in a comfortable chair with my eyes closed.
- I intuitively choose either my drum or a rattle to bring me to a journey state.
- As I begin to drum or rattle, I breathe deeply and get carried away in the rhythm.
- I focus my intent or mission for doing the journey.
- I visualize myself in a safe, sacred place. It's the same place for almost every journey.
- I begin calling in my spirit guides whom I've worked with for many, many years. Together, we access a portal to the realm of the spirit.
- A type of movie or dream begins to play in my head. I let it play as I watch, listen, and learn.
- It feels very much like how I imagine a trip to Wonderland would be. I meet interesting characters and have interesting adventures. I ask questions and come back with powerful medicine either for myself or someone else.
